Carers Service Manager

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 FTE per annum pro-rata

Hours: 28 hours per week

Location: Brent Gateway Office (Stonebridge) – Home working initially

The Brent Gateway Services is a new project to deliver preventative social care services and statutory advocacy to Brent residents. The project is a partnership between Age UK HHB, Harrow Mencap and Capable Communities.

As part of our Brent Gateway Services project, we are delighted to advertise the post for a Carers Service Manager. The post is a part-time position for 28 hours per week.

The successful candidate will be required to co-ordinate and develop the Carers Support and Social Isolation Services. With experience of working with and knowledge of the issues faced by carers, you will be able to directly impact the services carers receive.

Core aspects of the role will include:

  • Development of the Carers services and Social Isolation services to ensure these are delivered to a high standard in line with funding streams
  • Setting and cascading of Brent Gateway Partnership goals and objectives to staff and volunteers
  • Ensure staff and volunteers have up-to-date resources relevant to their role
