ACCESS TO A CAR AND A CLEAN FULL DRIVING LICENCE IS A REQUIREMENT OF THIS POSITION

If you have an interest in helping older people stay active and independent, and you’ve got skills in exercise delivery, then this role, working within our Falls Prevention team is for you.

The team is headed up by a physiotherapist and provides support to people in their own homes who are at risk of falling. The role is one that is both educational, raising awareness of falls risk factors and practical, delivering Otago-based exercise programmes.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to build strong connections with organisational and community colleagues, and service users. A knowledge of falls risk factors is an advantage. You will be expected to travel across Hillingdon on a regular basis and therefore you must be a car driver and owner.

Successful applicants are required to have the qualification levels specified in the person specification. We welcome applicants from individuals wishing to further their knowledge and skills and to gain a recognised qualification, which we will support.

Previous applicants need not apply.

(see Job Pack below for a comprehensive overview of all role requirements)
