A London Plan for Older People

Thursday February 8th 2018 | 10:30 - 14:30

We are 336, 336 Brixton Road, London, SW9 7AA

A London Plan for Older People - Help make London Age Friendly

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, is developing a London Plan to shape how the capital develops over the coming years - in fact up to 2041. It will have a major influence on how present and future older Londoners’ needs are met in areas like transport, housing, street and neighbourhood design, the environment, the economy, culture and others. The Plan is statutory guidance for boroughs and developers all over London.

Age UK London invites you to join us on 8 February from 10.30 (registration) to 14.30 to discuss some of the key issues and together come up with ideas for how the London Plan can make our city age friendly. The Mayor’s office will introduce the proposals for the Plan and the day will be facilitated by a team combining age sector and planning backgrounds. This is your chance to influence the main plan for how London develops in the next 20 years!

A light lunch will be available.
