Corporate Partnerships that Change Lives

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), is often perceived as being mainly for the benefit of charities, for example, through fundraising, or volunteering days.
But when done correctly CSR should also bring immense benefits to businesses.
Businesses can benefit from positive publicity by working with charities. They can fulfil CSR targets that they have in their organisations. And it’s well known that staff morale can be improved through CSR, through team-building, working in a different environment, and working towards a shared aim.
Mind’s partnership with Network rail is a stellar example of this. On the over ground rail network, it was estimated that 276 suicides/suspected suicides took place on the over ground rail network in 2023/2024. Clearly this was an issue that had to be tackled with sensitivity and urgency.
Through this partnership, and through joint messaging around suicide prevention, more than 27,000 interventions were made across Britain’s rail network last year.
We have a number of opportunities to work with you as a business leader. This ranges from donating furniture, giving your time to our upcycling project, to clearing up the grounds of our Day Centres.
For example, in October, B&Q very generously went to our Crossacres Day Centre (Crossacres page Link) to tidy up the garden and do some painting.
We also have a large project for businesses who really want to create value and fulfil their CSR goals, and get positive PR by demonstrating a commitment to social value.
Our gold-standard Holmfield Residential Care Home needs a refurbishment. The Home provides a high-standard of care and was rated as Overall Good at its last CQC inspection. Some comments on the home include:
“We found some of the carpets in the home were worn and paintwork was chipped in places. The registered manager explained the provider did the best they could with the budget they had.”
For the benefit of our residents, we are very keen on working with you to achieve our dream of refurbishing the home. After all, 24 people call Holmfield their home.
Some tasks that we seek help with include:
- Repairing handrails;
- Replacing the carpet in the lounge
- Replacing radiator covers
- Painting some sections of the home, including the entrance hall and stairway
If you are keen to show your commitment to social value and fulfil your CSR goals with us get in touch! We are happy to collaborate on social media strategy to promote the project and your hard work. We are willing to provide a case study and written feedback and more.
Not only will we benefit from your generous help, your business will fulfil its CSR goals, and you can boost team morale. Not to mention the PR benefits that you will get from the project.
