Valuation Day 26th June

What's it worth?

Published on 11 June 2025 02:00 PM

Who hasn’t wondered about that family heirloom or weird little curio before?

Now is your chance to have it valued by James Lewis (of BBC’s Bargain Hunt) and his team from Bamford’s auctioneers on Tuesday 26th June from 2pm – 4.30pm at

Nuthall Temple Community Centre, Nuthall NG16 1DP.

The £5 ticket price includes refreshments and 1 free valuation; further items can be valued at £2 each with all valuation proceeds going to support the work of Age UK Notts. Sales can be arranged if anyone wants to send their items to auction with Bamfords – you never know, that fabulous beach holiday or new kitchen could be paid for by what’s at the back of the cupboard!

Tickets are on sale until 19th June by calling Elaine on 07872 839605.

Even if you don’t have anything to value, come and meet the team - your ticket price will support the great work of Age UK Notts.

“We have no idea what might be discovered! Plus Nottingham has such a curious, often dramatic history.”

says Elaine Hopkins, Community Fundraiser for Age UK Notts.
