About the role
Age UK Notts’ specialist Safe & Sound team helps older people living across Nottinghamshire to stay safe, warm and independent in their own homes. As manager of the service, this role encompasses managing a small team, ensuring smooth-running frontline service delivery to meet service targets in a timely manner, completing home visits assessing and advising around energy efficiency, with a practical element of fitting small energy efficiency measures and arranging heating repairs.
Are you an experienced manager or team leader with experience in working with vulnerable groups? Do you have a good knowledge of energy efficiency measures for the home and basic housing repairs and maintenance?
Being a strong multi-tasker, with good communication skills, the manager will support the team to provide a high level of customer service to users. Producing reports for management and taking a lead on health and safety for the service are also included within the role.
If you are an organised and experienced manager but also like to work on the frontline delivery of a service that helps vulnerable people to be stay affordably warm and more independent at home, then this could be the job for you
