Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Salary: £12,233 per annum, AUNN Band D
Based: Home & field based
Tenure: Fixed term until 20th December 2022


About the role

“One Step at a Time” takes a combined statutory and community voluntary sector approach, connecting and supporting some of the most isolated and vulnerable residents in Nottingham, with a person-centred coordinated volunteer programme helping people get out for a walk and talk - right from their front door.

The Coordinator will work with local partners and resources to support residents using the OSAAT approach across South Nottinghamshire. They will be responsible for identifying active community groups as potential OSAAT partners and collaborating with existing local partners to maximise resources and identify areas of need.

About you

The successful candidate will be a self-starter, who understands the needs of people who are lonely and socially isolated and the barriers to their engagement. They will preferably have experience of supporting community groups, events or project management. They will have excellent networking and communication skills, have the ability to engage and empower others and build effective partnerships with other organisations.
