What is ClickSilver?

ClickSilver is a computer course which has helped over 300 people become computer literate. The course is suitable for complete beginners or those with existing basic skills who want to gain more confidence in using a computer and the internet. Participants can use the PC’s which are available or if they have their own laptop, tablet or iPad, they can bring it along and be taught how to use it.

Who is this service for?

Over 55’s with no or limited computer skills.

How much does this service cost?

£10 for a 6 week course, including refreshments.

How is this service delivered?

In a classroom with 1 to 1 mentoring by a university student.

The course takes place at Nottingham Trent University and the University of Nottingham, starting each October and February.

What support can ClickSilver offer?

Participants will learn a variety of skills including how to use a computer and the internet safely, send emails, attach photos and use social media. The course offers one to one support and is flexible to individual needs.
