Items we can't accept
We are not able to sell anything that is unsafe for someone to buy, for example anything that is broken, dangerous and unhygienic, where its safety cannot be proven, or it is illegal for us to sell. Please do not bring these items to us as we will incur costs for their disposal. If in doubt please ask a member of staff.
Furniture and House wares (Fire & Safety regulations 1988)
- Upholstered furniture without a fire label, including all items donated as sets
- Bedding - duvets and pillows
Electrical Items (TV Licensing body)
- Electric blankets
- PCs, scanners, printers and TVs
- Any items that do not work
Sports and Safety Equipment
- Bicycles
- Safety helmets, riding hats, crash helmets and cycle helmets.
- Safety harnesses
Children's Equipment
- Children's car seats
- Prams, pushchairs, buggies and highchairs
- Cots, carry cots and playpens
- Broken / incomplete toys
- Toys without a CE mark
Miscellaneous
- Personal appliances, such as shavers and foot spas (unless in mint condition and in a sealed box)
- Prescription spectacles
- Sharp knives, scissors and tools
- Magazines / periodicals
