Artistic Expression Group for Women

Walking Football

Tuesdays, 10am to 11am at St Mary's University Teddington

£5 per session to be paid on the day

Want to stay active, meet new people, and enjoy football at a gentler pace? 

We’re excited to introduce our new Tuesday Walking Football Club. Our first session will take place on 6 January and designed at a slower pace, to give less able players a comfortable and enjoyable way to take part. 

Enjoy light exercise, friendly games, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. No experience needed, just comfortable shoes and a willingness to join in.

6-week Indoor Rowing Course

Starts 22nd April at Twickenham Rowing Club.

£30 for the 6-week course

Prepare to fall in love with a new sport that's way more doable than you might think! Expert coach Su will teach you proper rowing techniques, the same as if you were to row on the water. There will be a strong focus on posture and core engagement and a gradual build of cardiovascular fitness. The course will be held indoors at Twickenham Rowing Club on beautiful Eel Pie Island in Twickenham. There will be time for a good chat over refreshments after each class.

6-week Gardening Course

Starts 22nd April, at Vine Road Pavillion

£25

At this beautiful community-run garden we will carry out practical gardening tasks with time to chat in a friendly group! The course is delivered by growing expert Nicky from Barnes Common and will include caring for seedlings, regenerative growing, soil health & composting, companion planting and much more.

The course is 6 weeks but we will take a one week break after the 4 week mark - thus sessions will take place on:

  • 22 April
  • 29 April
  • 6 May
  • 13 May
  • No session on 20 May
  • 27 May
  •  3 June

This gardening course is for people over the age of 55 living in the borough of Richmond and is offered in partnership with Age UK Richmond and Barnes Common.
