Pickleball

Starts 3 June, 10am at Active Hampton

£36 for the course

Pickleball is a fun new sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Pickleball can be played indoors or outdoors on a badminton-sized court. Two or four players use solid wooden paddles to hit a plastic ball over a net. It incorporates many of the skills of racquet sports but doesn't require the same speed and force, making it ideal for over 55s.

Age UK Richmond is running a 6 week introductory course inside the fantastic sports hall at Active Hampton (situated in the square by the White House Family Hub, the Sainsburys and the Hampton Ale House).

The course is 6 weeks but we will take a one week break after 2 sessions - thus lessons will take place on:

  • 3 June
  • 10 June
  • *No session on 17 June*
  • 24 June
  • 1 July
  • 8 July
  • 15 July
