Can you help Age UK Richmond?

Last December, Age UK Richmond upon Thames took part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge and thanks to the generosity of supporters like you, we raised an incredible £15,000.

The money raised has helped us continue our services and reach even more older people, their families and carers across Richmond upon Thames.

Over the past year, we have:

• Supported over 4,600 local older people, 11% more than the previous year.
• Helped older people and unpaid carers claim more than £900,000 in additional income.
• Welcomed 1,575 older people to our wellbeing activities with 50,000 attendances.
• Delivered 867 IT sessions, helping older people feel more confident using technology.

But behind every number is a person.

A person who feels more secure because they can afford to heat their home. Someone who has found friendship after feeling lonely. Someone who can finally connect with family and friends online. Someone who is able to remain living independently at home after a change of circumstances. And someone who knows that, when later life becomes difficult, there is support available.

Our support can change a person's day and improve their later life.

This December your donation will be doubled, for one week only!

This December we are participating in the Big Give Christmas Challenge once again and your donation will go twice as far from 1st to 8th December only.

The Big Give is a valuable once a year opportunity for every donation to have twice the impact. From 1 - 8 December 2026, donations made to our Big Give Christmas Challenge campaign will be doubled at no extra cost to you until we reach our target of £17,000.

This means that during campaign week:

For any donation of £10, we will receive £20.

For any donation of £50, we will receive £100.

For any donation of £100, we will receive £200.

If together we raise £8,500. We will receive £17,000!

As an independent local charity, Age UK Richmond upon Thames is responsible for raising the funds needed to deliver, sustain and provide our services. Your support helps us be there for all older people reaching out for our advice and help, but also for those facing financial, physical and emotional hardship, loneliness, ill health or finding everyday challenges a bit overwhelming.

SAVE THE DATE! 

The campaign opens for donations at 12pm on Tuesday 1 December and closes at 12pm on Tuesday 8 December, giving us just seven days to reach our target.

IMPORTANT! For donations to be doubled they must be made online through our Big Give campaign page. Only those online donations will be doubled until we hit our target. If you need any support using the online donating page, please reach out to us and we will be happy to help.
