Age UK Richmond Upon Thames is a local independent charity committed to supporting older people to overcome financial hardship, reduce isolation and loneliness, improve physical and emotional health and provide essential home services to increase independence.
This year, Age UK Richmond Upon Thames is taking part in the Big Give Christmas Campaign 2025 from 2nd to 9th of December. We’re hoping to raise vital funds for our work supporting local older people.
What is The Big Give?
The Big Give Christmas Campaign is a major UK-based fundraising initiative that helps charities like ours raise money through match funding. For one week only, 2nd to 9th December 2025, donations made to our charity through the Big Give platform will be doubled – one donation, twice the impact.
Before the campaign begins in December, we needed to build a match funding pot through commitments from key supporters - these are known as ‘Pledges’. We are delighted to announce that we hit our pledge target of £2,500. A huge thank you to all our wonderful pledgers.
What happens next?
During campaign week, which is 2nd to 9th December, all donations must be made directly onto our dedicated Big Give platform. Please note that only donations made online will get doubled. Unfortunately cheque or cash donations cannot take part of this campaign.
