Across the organisation all services have an individual training budget.

Staff and volunteers regularly attend mandatory training sessions on topics such as safeguarding adults, moving and handling, health and safety, food hygiene, fire safety, as well as service-specific training.

All services adhere to the General Social Care Code of Practice and promote equality, diversity and equal opportunities. This is to maintain a good standard of care and continuous improvement to practice.

Individual supervision is also provided in each area of work. Age UK Salford is committed to employing and retaining well trained staff.
