Fundraising Volunteer
Purpose:
To help raise funds to support the continuing work of Age UK Torbay, and to promote the wellbeing of the older people of Torbay.
Location:
Various events and locations throughout Torbay.
Hours:
Various - depending on the event being organised.
Training and support:
Induction Programme; ongoing support.
Age UK Torbay participates in many events throughout Torbay, for example, we organised a balloon race during Torbay Carnival releasing 670 balloons on Paignton Green, with some balloons crossing the channel! Other events include craft fairs and concert performances. All of these events help raise awareness of Age UK Torbay, and provide funds to help support our valuable services.
