This role is community based across the City of Birmingham.
18 Hours per week, 16 hours would also be considered
Salary: £12.523 per annum + benefits (£25,743 per annum pro rata FTE/£13.38ph)
About the role
The Dementia Cafe Coordinator will build and establish a network of monthly dementia cafes across all ten constituencies within Birmingham. This role aims to provide a vital, accessible, and inclusive community where individuals living with dementia, their carers, and families can find support, information, social connection, and engage in meaningful activities.
About you
Experience in working directly with individuals living with dementia and their carers, or a strong understanding of their needs and challenges is essential. Good communication skills are also essential, along with experience in delivering community support, project coordination or within a similar role.
