Group Telephone Activities

For those who find it difficult to get out and about, we run teleconference group activities. An ordinary landline or mobile phone is all that is needed to join and an access code enables a group of callers to join in one conversation.  We have several weekly sessions for you to join, with all different themes depending on your interests. You could attend one group a week, or try them all! Whatever suits you best.

See below for details of each weekly group. (You can also find the details of each Group Telephone Activity on our activities timetable)

Bereavement Chat
Day: Wednesday Time: 2pm -3.30pm
An opportunity to chat with others in a safe, gentle environment about your life and loss.  We share memories and talk about our lives with others that have experienced loss.

Quiz
Day: Thursday Time: 2pm-3pm
A weekly quiz! The quiz varies in theme and difficulty each week, playing to different strengths and challenging your general knowledge! Participants can also suggest ideas of their own for quizzes.

Gardening Club
Day: Thursday Time: to be confirmed

Chat about gardening, whether you’ve got a big garden or a house plant, share your gardening tips, your questions and get to know other gardeners at the same time. We are awaiting a new time to be agreed to re-start this group.

Sunday Chat
Day: Sunday Time: 11:30am - 12:30pm

For those who can’t make it during the week, a nice, relaxed weekend chat. Talk about anything you like, no themes, just catch up with others and share your thoughts.
