Primary location: Perry Tree Centre, B23 5BX though support may be needed at other sites (we work across Birmingham, Sandwell & the surrounding areas.)
15 hours p/w (0.4 FTE)
£9,481.60 per annum + benefits ( FTE £23,704)

About the role
This role is to ensure the safe and timely transportation of clients (older adults with dementia) to and from the Day Centre and to provide high-quality, person-centred care support, and engaging activities for clients living with dementia, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment during their time at the Day Centre.
About you
Experience in delivering care within a care setting such as day care or a car home is essential along with a basic understand of dementia and it's impact. Excellent communication skills are also essential, along with experience in planning & leading group activities and can exhibit patience, compassion, epathy as well as being able to remain calm and positive when managing challenging behaviour. A commitment to promoting equality and inclusion is also expected.
