Overview

Information & Advice (I&A) Admin Support Volunteers play a vital role in helping our service run smoothly. You’ll support the team with a range of administrative tasks that ensure clients receive timely, high‑quality support. This role is ideal for someone organised, confident using basic IT, and comfortable speaking with clients over the phone.

Main Responsibilities

  • Updating and writing up casework on our CRM system
  • Contacting clients by telephone to:
    • Check on the outcome of benefit claims
    • Conduct customer satisfaction or follow‑up surveys
    • General admin tasks, including:
    • Stocking and organising leaflets
      • Collating information
      • Supporting the smooth running of the I&A service

What We’re Looking For

  • A good listener who can identify problems and solutions
  • Able to understand written information and explain things clearly without jargon
  • Experience with administration, record‑keeping or similar tasks
  • Open‑minded, non‑judgemental approach to people
  • Comfortable working both face‑to‑face and over the telephone
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Willingness to attend training and development events
  • Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check
