Celebrating Our Commitment at the Cora Phillips Award 2025

We were honoured to participate in the inaugural Cora Phillips Award 2025, an inspiring initiative led by the Bromley Dementia Friendly Community. The award celebrates individuals, teams, and organisations across the borough who go above and beyond in supporting local people living with dementia.
Held on 22nd May 2025 during Dementia Action Week, the event brought together 14 incredible applicants, each recognised for their outstanding contribution to dementia care and support. From community groups to frontline teams, the commitment to making Bromley a more dementia-friendly place was clear to see.
Our Deputy CEO, Schola, proudly accepted a certificate of recognition from the Mayor of Bromley on behalf of Age UK Bromley & Greenwich. It was a moment of pride for our whole team, and a reminder of the importance of the work we do every day.
We remain committed to helping people live well with dementia and to championing inclusive, compassionate communities where everyone feels supported.
