Final Call for Knitters: Help Us Reach Our Big Knit Target by 1st July

The countdown is on! With just one month to go until the deadline for the 2025 innocent Big Knit, Age UK Bromley & Greenwich is calling on local knitters to help us reach our target and support older people in our community.

Thanks to the incredible efforts of our supporters, we’ve already sent in 6,351 little hats – raising £1,905.30 to help fund our vital local services. Each of these tiny woolly hats will be placed on innocent smoothie bottles in shops from October. For every be-hatted bottle sold, Age UK receives 30p – a small hat with a big impact.

Whether you’re a knitting expert or a complete beginner, there’s still time to get involved. The final date to send in your completed hats is 1st July 2025. Every stitch helps us continue providing essential information, advice, and friendship for older people across Bromley and Greenwich.
