Fit into Kindness Fundraiser

Fit into Kindness your summer wellness activities helping Age UK Camden. 

Hot on the heels of welcoming coffee mornings and providing warm spaces for our Age UK Camden community, BETTER Leisure Centres in Camden are supporting our local charity with a Fit into Kindness Fundraiser from 5th June- 28th July. By getting sponsored for a workout, a yoga session, a swim, or your preferred activity, you will really be helping us, to help the people who really need us most in the community.

Age UK Camden’s’ services are needed more than ever. They are vital for the wellbeing of so many older people living in our community who are experiencing increasing hardship and isolation within the challenges of the current day realities. Would you be so kind to use your personal fitness and wellbeing activity at one of the participating centres: Pancras Square Leisure, Kentish Town Sports Centre, Swiss Cottage Leisure Centre, or Oasis Sports Centre to support Age UK Camden.

Photos and stories will be celebrated and featured across the social media of both BETTER Leisure Centres in Camden and Age UK Camden (we do understand if you prefer to remain anonymous). We would love to hear why you like going to visit your local centre and how keeping fit supports your health and wellbeing. By sharing your story, you may encourage more people to understand the great benefits of keeping fit and connected by engaging in healthy activities too!

A thank you celebration will be held at Pancras Square Leisure to honour your kind efforts with a celebrity guest awarding bronze, silver, and gold prizes to the winners.

Fit into Kindness for Age UK Camden by simply picking up a sponsorship form at participating BETTER Camden Leisure Centre or emailing fundraising@ageukcamden.org.uk

 

Donations can be:

  • Made online at ageuk.org.uk/camden/get-involved/donate/
  • Given to Age UK Camden staff on the 28th of July at the BETTER Pancras Square Leisure celebration event or delivered to our Head Office at 68 Parkway, London NW1 7AH
