Volunteer Administrator - Good Neighbours Scheme & Telefriends
We are looking for a volunteer to help us gather feedback from our clients about the service they receive from our befriending services. The role may develop to include other administrative tasks to support the service co-ordination.
Overview of Service
Age UK Camden is an independent voluntary organisation working to enhance the quality of life for older people living in the borough of Camden. We are predominately a front-line service delivery organisation.
Our Good Neighbours Scheme and Telefriends services provide volunteer befriending to reduce loneliness for isolated older people: volunteers, who are DBS checked and trained, are matched with an older person based on their shared interests and availability. Through trusted befriending relationships, volunteers offer company and conversation. They also highlight concerns and any need for advice and support.
