Come along on Sunday 8 October to support our runners as they take on the 13.1 mile race through four of London's Royal Parks. We have four runners for Age UK Camden and four for Opening Doors London who will begin in Hyde Park, dash through Green Park, sprint through St James' Park and cross the finish line in Kensington Gardens. Along the way taking in iconic landmarks as the Houses of Parliament, the Strand, the church St Mary Trafalgar Square and through Admiralty Arch. We are asking our runners to aim for a fundraising target of £1000, so please have a look at their Virgin Money Giving pages. See Gareth's fundraising page at http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/GARAMAND and Bella, Sarah Jane and Gracie's fundraising page at http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/SJBellaGracie.
Age UK Camden deliver services such as befriending, Information and Advice, Digital Inclusion workshops, two resource centres offering activities and classes and specialist dementia services. For older people with little or no family in the borough Age UK Camden is everything to them and with further cuts to its funding expecting later this year the charity risks losing some of its vital services.
If you would like to take part in a future run and help fundraise for Age UK Camden then please get in touch suzy.barber@ageukcamden.org.uk
