Volunteer with us

  • Retail Volunteer

We are looking for volunteers to help in our shops. You will meet new people daily and have some fun while helping raise funds to help local older people. We have shops in Alderley Edge, Crewe, Ellesmere Port, Frodsham, Knutsford, Macclesfield, Northwich, Sandbach and Poynton.

  • Gift of Friendship Volunteer

Our Sharing Time ReConnect project offers more than just a regular visit to an older person — it offers a lifeline. One hour a week of your time will help older people reconnect with their local community and build confidence and resilience.

  • Stay Connected Telephone Befriender

Do you love chatting on the phone? Receiving just one phone call from a friendly person can make all the difference to an older person’s day. This role can be done from your own home and within the hours which suit you.

  • Bright Memories Day Service

The Bright Memories Day Service are looking for volunteers to help with our weekly sessions for people with mild to moderate dementia. You could help with activities and planning as well as having a friendly chat.

  • Knit and Knatter Group and Book Club Leaders

If you like chatting to people over a cup of tea and a craft project, or you love talking about books you could be one of our volunteer Group Leaders. We run a Knit and Knatter group and a Book Club in Northwich!

  • Green Connections Volunteer

We are looking for volunteers to help people aged 55 and over living in the Crewe and Nantwich area maintain their gardens through low-maintenance activities such as weeding, pruning, general tidying and planting.
