We have a wonderful team of over 200 volunteers who give us their time, skills and dedication and we could not deliver our vital serices to older people in Cheshire without them.
Would you like to join the team? We have lots of volunteering opportunities where you could really make a difference to older people in your community - serving customers in our shops, befriending a lonely older person, assisting with nature themed activities or having fun connecting with people at our Activity Day Groups.

I&A Administrator
We are looking for an organised and reliable administrator to support our team of Information & Advice Advisors by creating, updating and maintaining our lists of resources and information that are provided to clients. The role is home based and should take a couple of hours a week.

Sharing Time Reconnect Befriender
Our Sharing Time Reconnect project offers more than just a regular visit to an older person — it offers a lifeline. Giving at least one hour a week of your time will help older people reconnect with their local community and build confidence and resilience.

Stay Connected Telephone Befriender
Do you love chatting on the phone? Receiving just one phone call from a friendly person can make all the difference to an older person’s day. This role can be done from your own home and within the hours which suit you.

Bright Memories Volunteer
The Bright Memories Activity Day Groups are looking for volunteers to help with our weekly sessions for people with mild to moderate dementia. You could help with activities and planning as well as having a friendly chat at our groups in Northwich and Macclesfield.

Scams Awareness Champion
Over 50% of older people have been targeted by scammers — you can help them stay safe. We are looking for volunteers in Cheshire West to support older people from home and assist in delivering education sessions and events in the local community.

Green Connections Volunteer
Support older people in Crewe and Nantwich to reconnect with nature through a combination of group and community activities and 1-1 home support with light gardening tasks, nature themed activities and wellbeing sessions.

Our shops are vital in raising the money we need to support older people in Cheshire. Could you help us keep them stocked, tidy and a welcoming place for our customers to shop?
We have a network of friendly shops across Cheshire - you can find us in the heart of the community in Alderley Edge, Crewe, Ellesmere Port, Frodsham, Knutsford, Macclesfield, Northwich, Sandbach and Poynton.
We offer varied, flexible shifts and it's a great way to meet new people, be part of a team, learn new skills to boost your CV and make a difference in your community.
