About Age Cymru West Glamorgan

We are a local charity providing a range of services to our clients, families, and carers across Swansea, Neath Port Talbot, and Bridgend. Our Wellbeing Studio is a welcoming and relaxing space offering a range of wellbeing treatments.

Volunteers play an important role in supporting the day-to-day running of the Studio and helping us provide a friendly, positive experience for every client who visits.

Role Description:

We are looking for friendly, approachable and reliable volunteers to support the day-to-day running of our Wellbeing Studio.

As a Wellbeing Studio Volunteer, you will help create a warm and welcoming environment for clients, from greeting them when they arrive and offering a drink, through to helping them check out following their appointment.

You will also help with the general practical tasks that keep the Studio clean, tidy and ready for clients throughout the day, alongside some light administrative duties.

This is a varied role combining client interaction with general Studio support and administration. The role does not involve delivering or assisting with any treatments or therapies. Full training will be provided for the volunteer duties involved in the role.

We are looking for volunteers who can commit to a regular weekly session during our Wellbeing Studio opening hours. Specific days and session times can be discussed with you as part of the initial volunteer conversation.
