We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Facilities Assistant to join our Facilities Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied and hands-on role and is keen to take on new projects and responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have at least some basic practical experience in maintenance.

You will be a proactive problem-solver who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty. You'll also be highly organised and administratively capable, with strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel for managing documents and spreadsheets. This role could be ideal for someone who is working towards, or has already gained, a Facilities Management operative or Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM) qualification.

As an ambassador for our charity, you will have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a customer-service-oriented approach. You'll support our Facilities Manager with both reactive maintenance and project-related tasks, including helping to manage our planned preventative maintenance schedule. This will involve liaising with external contractors and suppliers where appropriate.

Due to the nature of the role, you'll need a full UK driving licence.

While a basic level of experience in facilities management is helpful, we are more interested in your willingness to learn, adapt, and grow with us. You'll need to be flexible and capable of working in a hybrid role, responding to the needs of our charity across the county.

All fully completed applications must be received no later than Friday 14th November at 5.00pm.

Interviews will take place on Thursday 20th November at our Faraday House facility in Eastbourne.
