We’re Hiring a Fundraising Coordinator – Individual Giving & Community

  • Location: Lewes or Eastbourne
  • Hours: 21 per week (part-time, some evenings/weekends)
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Salary: up to £26,000 + 5 weeks annual leave pro rata

Join Age UK East Sussex, an independent local charity dedicated to improving the lives of older people across our county.

We’re entering an exciting phase of growth and are looking for a Fundraising Coordinator – Individual Giving & Community to help us build lasting supporter relationships, grow voluntary income, and inspire people to support our work.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and deliver engaging fundraising campaigns and events.
  • Build strong relationships with donors, partners, and community fundraisers.
  • Grow regular giving, donations, and legacy pledges.
  • Work with our Marketing team to create compelling fundraising materials and digital campaigns.
  • Manage donor records, reporting, and fundraising systems.
  • Recruit and support volunteers to boost our fundraising efforts.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven fundraising and/or marketing experience.
  • A proactive, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate others to get involved.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confidence representing the charity at events and in the community.
