Celebrating Pride at Every Age: Launch of Enfield’s New LGBTQ+ 60+ Group
Enfield LGBT Network, in partnership with Age UK Enfield, is proud to announce the launch of a new community group for LGBTQ+ people aged 60 and over. The initiative celebrates life, pride, and connection at every age, offering a welcoming space to share stories, make friends, and build community together.
The group officially launches on Monday, 10th November, and will meet every Monday from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm at The Lancaster Centre, 53 Lancaster Road, Enfield EN2 0BU.
Whether you’re looking to reconnect with the local LGBTQ+ community, find support, or simply enjoy friendly conversation, all are welcome to join. Free light refreshments will be provided at each session.
Mark Healey, CEO at Enfield LGBT Network, said:
"This group is about celebrating who we are, no matter our age. It’s a chance to come together, share experiences, and ensure that older LGBTQ+ people in Enfield have a strong sense of belonging and community."
Anna Kourdoullou-Iqbal, Health and Wellbeing Manager of Age UK Enfield, added:
"We are incredibly proud to be partnering with Enfield LGBT Network on this important initiative. Age UK Enfield is committed to supporting inclusivity and ensuring that everyone—regardless of age, gender, or sexuality—feels valued and connected.
