The Parker Centre is an award winning specialist dementia day care centre in Edmonton, providing high quality care, activities and events for people with early memory problems to advanced dementia.

Offering flexible, fun and tailored activities, our specialist staff team support individuals to live life to the full in a safe and secure environment, whilst providing their carers or families with some respite time.

The Parker Centre offers a wide range of activities to stimulate the memory and mind, as well as one off events and celebrations. A nutritious hot meal is served every day, freshly prepared at our kitchen on site, with refreshments served regularly.

Activities are tailored to the individual clients interests, hobbies, and life stories. We also work with specialist external organisations to provide specific activities, which can include:
• Occupational activities
• Craft
• Art
• Singing
• Films
• Reminiscence activities

Our involvement with nationally recognised Maintenance Cognitive Stimulation Therapy, as well as years of expertise of Age UK Enfield, has informed the ongoing development of our personalised dementia support services, enabling us to provide truly meaningful, stimulating and beneficial care and activities for people with dementia.

Maintenance Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (MCST) is an evidence-based programme aimed at people with mild to moderate dementia. It is the only non-drug treatment recommended to improve cognition, independence, and well-being by NICE.

Individuals can attend every weekday, on selected days or for specific events.

We invite you to come and visit the centre, experience our activities and lunch provision, and get a feel for what we are about. We are proud members of the community in Edmonton, with staff and client groups representative of the diverse communities of the borough.
