A trusted break for carers
Caring for someone with dementia is an act of love but it can also be emotionally and physically exhausting. Our Dementia Sitting Service in Hillingdon and Harrow offers short-term companionship and supervision, giving carers a chance to rest, recharge, or simply catch up with daily life, knowing their loved one is in safe hands.
What is Dementia Sitting?
This service provides non-clinical, in-home support for older people living with dementia. While we don’t offer personal care, our experienced team members will:
● Offer companionship
● Provide a reassuring presence
● Ensure the person is safe and comfortable at home
This allows carers to take a much-needed break with peace of mind.

Pricing and Availability
● £28 per hour (minimum of 1.5 hours per week)
● One-off £28 fee for an initial assessment visit

● Service area: for adults aged 50+ living in the boroughs of Hillingdon and Harrow

How do I pay?
We ask for payment by Direct Debit to reduce admin time and costs.
Can I cancel or rearrange a visit?
Yes - Contact our team in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. Please note that 48 hours notice is required or the visit is chargeable.
Do I need a referral?
No - simply get in touch to arrange an assessment.
