Here at Age UK Lambeth, we have started a healthy walks programme to help encourage the residents of Lambeth to get moving. This is in memory of Diana Kahn, who was Chair of Trustees for Age UK Lambeth between 2011 and 2018. On 13th May 2022, she died peacefully at home, following the re-emergence of cancer, having been in remission for over ten years. Her family kindly set up a donation page in her memory and this money is being used to help support this amazing new service.
See below for the different types of walks we will have on offer. We will also be looking to hold other walks such as wheelchair friendly, demenita and nordic!
Latest dates
We currently have 3 walks scheduled at Kew Gardens on the following dates:
- 30th of August
- 27th September
- 18th of October
Regular Walks:
Every Friday at 1pm at Brockwell Park. The meeting point is Brockwell Park Lido Cafe, the walk is roughly an hour including a stop at the end for a refreshment if people want to join.
