Annual Golf Day
Our annual charity golf day has been confirmed for Monday 7th September 2026, and will once again be hosted by Lingdale Golf Club. We are calling out for teams and sponsors to sign up to support the day, which has become one of the highlights on our calendar.
Now, more than ever we need your help. There are currently nearly 2 million older people living in poverty and with everybody feeling the pressure bought on by the current global situation, things are not going to get easier. But that is where your support can help.
What to expect
Each team of four will play 18 holes on the elite Lingdale Golf Course. Then the day will be rounded up in the club house with prize giving, a three-course meal and a chance to help raise vital funds for the charity. Below is an idea of the timings for the day:
9.00am - Welcome, team registration and breakfast.
11:00am - Shotgun start for the 18-hole tournament
4:00pm - Pre-dinner drinks in clubhouse bar.
5.00pm - Three course dinner, prize giving and after auction.
Entering a team for the day could create a great team building or networking opportunity for you or you could decide to use the occasion to play with family or friends. Whoever you choose to have in your team, there is always room for a little healthy competition on the course and sign-up is open to everyone.
Team entry: £420 (3-4 people)

Sponsorships
The success of this day relies largely on contributions from sponsorship and donations. Not only does a donation benefit the work our charity does, but it is also a fantastic way to showcase and promote your company's support to key stakeholders from across the region. Your support will also be endorsed on our social media channels as well as in our golf tournament brochure and auction catalogue, which is given to an audience of attendees from up to 26 regional businesses.
