The Census survey takes place every 10 years and provides local authorities, charities and bodies like the NHS vital information about the population, which they use to help plan services such as transport, health and social care.

Older Londoners are the fastest growing demographic in London and it is vital that all older Londoners can access any support they may need to take part.

The Census takes place on Sunday 21st March and each household is required to complete it on this date or soon afterwards. This time it is online, which is great for many but also means some people will need more support.

We’ve compiled answers to a number of questions that you or someone you know may have.
