Current volunteering roles with Age UK North Craven

  • Volunteer retail assistant

    Could you help out in our charity shop, sorting and selling donated items to provide vital income for our work in North Craven? 

  • Activity support volunteer

    Our activity support volunteers provide a varied menu of activities and a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for older people.

  • Volunteer befriender

    Our Volunteer Befrienders provide practical and emotional support and company to older people living alone. 

  • Volunteer minibus driver

    This role supports our local shuttle service and day trips, helping older people get around and enjoy days out.

  • Volunteer courier

    As a volunteer courier you will be supporting the minibus drivers and customers who use our trasnport services, helping them to get to where they need to go.

  • Volunteer car driver

    Using your own car, you'll provide essential door-to-door transport for older people who have difficulties using public or other forms of transport.

  • Home from hospital volunteers

    You'll provide short term practical support such as shopping or collecting medication for clients following a stay in hospital.

  • Volunteer knitters

    Have you got some knitting skills? We could use your help to make knitted hats and items for window displays.
