OUR DIGITAL DROP IN
Do you want help with your digital equipment, like mobile phones, tablets (including iPads) or laptops?
Come and join us on a Tuesday morning from 10am to 12pm at the Victoria Hall Refreshment Gardens. Staff and volunteers from Age UK North Craven and Settle Hub will be on hand to help and support you.
This has been a lovely and Covid safe venue for the summer, lots of people comment on what a friendly and welcoming atmosphere it is. We plan to continue the sessions at this venue until Tuesday 7 September 2021 and will update as soon as possible about alternative venues after that.
Please Note: Everyone is welcome but if you would like to attend, would you ring the office to register on 01729 823066 - thank you.
OUR WEEKLY CLUBS
We are already running one Club which is held at the Victoria Hall Gardens and looking at organising others.
We are having to alter the way our Clubs were run, due to the Covid-19 but are in the process of arranging new Clubs and Meetings.
Please give us a call on 01729 823 066 for more information.
Other clubs around North Craven
We have a network of other clubs in Horton in Ribblesdale, Ingleton, Langcliffe, Long Preston, Rathmell and Malham providing company, friendship and fun activities for older people who live in those areas and surrounding villages.
If you'd like to find out about any of our clubs, please contact us on 01729 823 066.
Getting out and about with day trips and walks
Want to go on some fun day trips to explore new places with a friendly bunch of people? Age UK North Craven runs day trips throughout the year.
Get in touch with the countryside
Our Country Connect service takes people into the countryside to enjoy sights, sounds and activities reflecting all four seasons of the year.
Workshops and classes
Themed dances and taster classes are organised from time to time. Usually running over four to six weeks, the taster days introduce people to new activities to try. Recent ones include mindfulness, tai chi, card and decoration making, haiku writing with tea.
