Minibus Shopping Shuttle

Our service is run by volunteers but we do ask for a payment of between £4.50 and £7.00 (the cost is dependent on the Shopping shuttle trip booked) for each return journey to help cover the van and fuel costs. Payment is required at the time of booking.

Please note, this service is not available outside Age UK North Craven - Head Office's catchment area.

Who is the Shopping shuttle bus service for?

It is for older people in North Craven, including people living in Settle Town, Ingleton, Hellifield, and surrounding villages and offers door to door pick up and drop off.

Shuttle service timetable

The shuttle services run as follows:
• Settle– Running every Tuesday morning, with door-to-door local pickups and about an hour for shopping.
• Kirkby Lonsdale– Runs on the third Thursday of each month, arranges door to door pickups from Settle and all villages en route through to Kirkby Lonsdale (Booths or marketplace). There is about an hour of shopping time before the journey home.
• Skipton– Runs on the first Thursday of each month, with door-to-door local pickups in Settle and all villages en route to Skipton.
• Kendal – Runs on the last Friday of each month, with door to door pick ups in Settle, and villages en route to Kendal.
