Minibus Shopping Shuttle

Our service is run by volunteers but we do ask for a payment of between £3 and £4.50 ( the cost is dependent on the Shopping shuttle trip booked) for each return journey to help cover the van and fuel costs. You can pay on the day.

Please note, this service is not available outside Age UK North Craven - Head Office's catchment area.

Who is the Shopping shuttle bus service for?

It is for older people in North Craven, including people living in Settle Town, Ingleton, Hellifield, and surrounding villages and offers door to door pick up and drop off.

Shuttle service timetable

The shuttle service runs every week on Tuesday, fortnightly on Thursday and monthly on a Wednesday.
• Settle– Running on Tuesday morning, with door-to-door local pickups and about an hour for shopping.
• Kirkby Lonsdale– This twice monthly shopping shuttle arranges door to door pickups from Austwick through to Kirkby Lonsdale (Booths or marketplace). About an hour of shopping time to grab your groceries followed by door to door drop offs afterwards.
• Skipton– Running on the first Wednesday of each month, with door-to-door local pickups in Settle, Giggleswick, Long Preston and Hellifield and about an hour for shopping, before returning.
