We have a lovely couple from Halifax who are raising money for Second Time Around from the sales of carrier bags in their restaurant. They have recently donated another £30, totalling £50 to date and all over the past 3 months - Thank you so much ....

e-mail us on secondtimearound@ageuknorthcraven.org

  • Every item of stock is donated by the community and is cleaned and restored if needed, and then sold in our shop or through our online sales department. The proceeds are used to provide a range of support services run in the local community. These include information and advice, transport for health-related appointments, shopping shuttles and day trips, lunch clubs, digital support and befriending services to name a few.

STA accepts donations, the process is as follows, the donator calls us, and we ask for a description, a photograph (if possible), of the item together with their full address and contact number and an email if they have one.
Once we receive the information, we can then assess if we are able to accept the item and arrange collection. We can only accept items that we are confident of being able to sell.

  • Items that we can accept include:

Items that we cannot accept include:

Beds, mattrasses, large electrical white goods, sadly we are not able to store and sell them.

We also provide a collection service for donations where applicable and delivery service for purchases, please note if you require delivery there is a charge which would be agreed upon purchase.
