Living Well Assistant

Hours: Casual, zero hour contract (need to be available regularly for minimum of 10 hours per week)
Salary: £12.92 per hour (plus 14.04% rolled-up holiday pay, paid travel time between visits and travel expenses)
Based: In and around borough of Rushcliffe

About the role

As a Living Well Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting people to live independently, confidently and well in their own homes. Working closely with individuals, families and local communities, you will provide personalised support that focuses on strengths, choice and wellbeing rather than simply completing tasks. Every day will be different as you help people achieve their goals, maintain their independence, build connections and access opportunities that matter to them. If you are compassionate, motivated and passionate about making a positive difference in people's lives, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of our new Living Well at Home service.

About you

The successful candidates will have excellent organisational skills as well as a good understanding of supporting older and vulnerable people in a person-centred way. Previous experience working in domiciliary care, home support, social care, health care or community services would be advantageous. Please note that a full driving licence is essential, as is having access to your own vehicle for work purposes.
