The Barnes Green Centre is a charming, versatile village hall situated in the heart of Barnes. You can find the building located on Barnes Green, next to the beautiful village pond.

Easily accessible by transport links, the Centre is a 10-minute walk away from Barnes Bridge and Barnes overground stations with bus routes close by.

There is ample free parking on surrounding roads evenings and weekends.

From 9.00am to 5.00pm on weekdays the centre is used by local charity Age UK Richmond upon Thames to provide health and wellbeing activities and support to older people. This includes exercise sessions, social groups and games.

At evenings and weekends, the hall is available for hire as a venue for children’s parties, conferences & events, wedding receptions and classes.

It can accommodate 80 sit-down guests or 90 people if standing. We also have an additional lounge area and a small patio garden.

Facilities

HALL & LOUNGE

The combination of hall and lounge works well for many people who hire the Centre. At family gatherings the lounge can be used as a separate area for children; for conferences it can be employed as a break-out area for meetings.
The hall is a versatile space and can be left empty to allow people to mingle or alternatively can be set for formal or informal dining or in theatre style.
We can supply chairs and tables but additional elements such as conference stages/lecterns etc need to be hired in.

THE KITCHEN

The kitchen is fully equipped for everything from full scale food prep to simple re-heating. You can use our equipment or bring in your own catering equipment or hire your own caterers.
The kitchen set up includes:
Industrial six burner hob
Separate combi oven
Bain Marie
Microwave
Dishwasher
Large fridge and freezer

PATIO GARDEN

The patio garden is fully enclosed and can be used as a separate area as a quiet place to slip away to in a busy or noisy event.
