1. Activities Officer (Bright Days)
To work with the Bright Days Team Leader to maintain a regular programme of health and wellbeing activities across Wigan Borough, encouraging people to look for ways to keep fit, healthy and active in later life.

£10.60 per hour
AO(BD) Job Description and Person Specification
Drivers with access to a car are essential to this role as you will be providing activities across Wigan Borough.
We will run this vacancy until a suitable candidate is found. Interviews will be held with candidates who demonstrate that they are a close fit to the person specification, as application are received.
2. Home Helpers
We are seeking Home Helpers to support our shopping and cleaning service.
Hours are variable to suit - we work Monday to Thursday 9am - 5pm and Fridays 9am to 4.30pm. Our Home Helpers work between 16 and 24 hours a week. There is no evening or weekend work. This is a zero hour contract but staff develop a regular rota. You will work in an area close to your home - we need people across Wigan Borough.
£10.60 per hour, rising to £11.50 per hour in April 2024.
Drivers with access to a car are preferred as it takes a longer time to build us a suitable rota if other forms of transport are used.
We are currently particularly seeking Home Helpers in the Atherton/Tyldesley/Moseley Common/Astley areas.
