1. Home Helper - Orrell, Standish, Shevington area
We are looking for someone who is caring, compassionate, reliable and has a genuine interest in the wellbeing of older people.
This is a hugely rewarding role as a Home Helper assists older people to remain active, independent and linked into their local community. You will provide regular visist to customers in their homes and be responsible for wide range of household cleaning tasks, including laundry and ironing. Some customers may also ask for errands to be completed such as shopping or collecting prescriptions. Others may want a wellbeing visit. This is more than just a cleaning job.
The role requires a full driving licence, vehicle business insurance and an enhanced DBS check.
Please note that there are no personal care duties involved in this role.
The rota is for 16 hours a week. 13 of these are guaranteed. The remaining three hours will be paid as overtime at the same rate.
The service operates between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday with no Bank Holiday, evening or weekend working.
