In the role of Mental Health Therapies Navigator you will:

 

  1. Process all referrals received from Insight Health care in a timely manner, ensuring all paperwork is prepared for their first assessment
  2. Be the first point of contact for clients and counsellors calling the service, ensuring that all telephone calls to the office are dealt with in a courteous and professional manner and that all appropriate procedures are followed.
  3. Maintain service records and undertake general administrative duties associated with the post and the smooth-running of the service.
  4. Prepare material and documents needed for counsellor inductions.
  5. To support staff and volunteers within the Mental Health Therapies service to ensure efficient and effective administrative operations and delivery of a high standard of service.
  6. To record all interactions with service users on the appropriate data management system, to meet time deadlines for reports.
  7. Keep accurate records of telephone calls, visit and referrals, to compile a monthly statistics report.
  8. In conjunction with the Lead for Mental Health Therapies, manage infection prevention control issues through adhering to health and safety policies and ensuring all counselling rooms are kept clean.
  9. To identify and celebrate the impact of our work and present this evidence as case studies and examples of good practice.

12 hours per week
