Mental Health Therapies Navigator
In the role of Mental Health Therapies Navigator you will:
- Process all referrals received from Insight Health care in a timely manner, ensuring all paperwork is prepared for their first assessment
- Be the first point of contact for clients and counsellors calling the service, ensuring that all telephone calls to the office are dealt with in a courteous and professional manner and that all appropriate procedures are followed.
- Maintain service records and undertake general administrative duties associated with the post and the smooth-running of the service.
- Prepare material and documents needed for counsellor inductions.
- To support staff and volunteers within the Mental Health Therapies service to ensure efficient and effective administrative operations and delivery of a high standard of service.
- To record all interactions with service users on the appropriate data management system, to meet time deadlines for reports.
- Keep accurate records of telephone calls, visit and referrals, to compile a monthly statistics report.
- In conjunction with the Lead for Mental Health Therapies, manage infection prevention control issues through adhering to health and safety policies and ensuring all counselling rooms are kept clean.
- To identify and celebrate the impact of our work and present this evidence as case studies and examples of good practice.
