33.5 hours per week (0.9 FTE)

FTE £24,388 pro-rata (£22,081 for 0.9 FTE, plus pension and healthcare scheme benefits)

The opportunity

 We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our organisation.

The Wellbeing Activities programme is dedicated to reducing loneliness and isolation amongst older people through the provision of social and physical activities across Birmingham.

You will be responsible for developing and delivering meaningful activities for older people. Encouraging them to maintain their independence, choice, and dignity, and enabling them to lead as full and active life as possible.

The ideal candidate

You will be able to demonstrate excellent people and communication skills, with an ability to engage with older people and volunteers. You will also be able to evidence ability to work as part of a team, strong organisational skills, with a commitment to high quality, empathetic, customer service for older people.


The organisation

We are a locally focused charity supporting people over 50 in Birmingham and Sandwell.

We have a range of different services for older people, all aimed at providing support to older people to remain independent at home and connected to their community. We support with mental and physical wellbeing, as well as practical services for older people.

As part of our services we have over 120 volunteers across Birmingham and Sandwell, supporting us in our efforts to ensure everyone in our community can love later life.
