TIME RUNNING OUT FOR PENSIONERS TO QUALIFY FOR SECOND PART OF GOVERNMENT’S COST-OF-LIVING PAYMENT

Age UK Birmingham and Age UK Sandwell urge local pensioners on a low income to put in a claim for Pension Credit by Sunday 18th December 2022 so they don’t miss out on £324 lump sum and other cost of living support.

If you are not already on Pension credit and your total weekly income is less than £182.60/week if you are single or £278.70/week if you live with a partner, you may be eligible for pension credit

To check your eligibility and make a claim for Pension Credit, people should call the DWP Pension Credit claim line direct on 0800 99 1234 or visit www.gov.uk/pension-credit/how-to-claim. It can be claimed by phone and online.
