New Friends First groups

There are now two new Friends First groups!

For the past year and a half, Age UK Birmingham has partnered with Age Concern as part of a project called Friends First. The mission of this project is to create friendship groups across Birmingham for over 50s. Reconnectors are bringing together individuals in a safe, warm environment to spend time together and find friendship. Whilst the groups are primarily for friendship, we have also created these groups to help individuals build confidence, stay active and learn new skills.

Recently we have added two new groups; one at St Joseph's church and one at the Birmingham Settlement Nature and Wellbeing centre. We would love for new people to join! If you or someone you know are interested, please email Age Concern at info@ageconcernbirmingham.org.uk or call 0121 362 3650.
