Volunteer role description

We are currently recruiting for two rewarding volunteer roles supporting older people through creative activities. Full training will be provided for your chosen role, along with all materials. Travel expenses will be covered. A DBS check is required, which will be arranged and funded by Age UK Bolton.

As an Art Workshop Volunteer, you'll lead small, friendly group sessions in a community setting. You’ll guide older people through creative activities like floristry, ceramics, textiles, or painting and drawing, helping to create a welcoming, social space where people can connect and have fun.

You don’t need to be an artist or have prior experience, just bring your enthusiasm and kindness!

We're looking for someone who is...
  • Friendly, approachable, and patient
  • Good listeners who enjoy chatting with others
  • Reliable and able to commit to agreed sessions
  • Encouraging and supportive of others’ creativity
  • Open to learning and trying new things
Time requirements

Please note sessions take place Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.
