We employ over 40 paid staff and we have 90+ volunteers to provide a range of services for older people in Bristol. We offer training and regular support and the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills in working with this group.

Current Vacancies:

New Beginnings Day Centre Support Worker

Working hours: 24 hours per week
Working pattern: Monday 8.15 – 4.30; Wednesday 9.30 – 2.45; Thursday 9.45 –3.00; Friday 9.30 – 2.45
Term: Fixed Term 1 year (Maternity Leave Cover)
Salary: £14,378 per annum pro rata

We currently have a part-time vacancy for a Support Worker at our New Beginnings Day Service, based at the Withywood Centre, Queens Road, Withywood.

As a Support Worker, you will be working alongside the Senior Support Worker to deliver a range of activities that are person centred, assist with personal care, promote the independence of older people, and support older people to and from their homes.  Ideally, you will have some experience and knowledge of the issues facing older people living with Dementia.
