MCST Project Coordinator
14 hours/week
£22,870 pro rata (£9,148 per annum)
Fixed Term Contract until 11 April 2022

Age UK Bristol is seeking a Project Co-Ordinator to deliver its Maintenance Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (MCST) Project.

MCST provides older people with mild to moderate dementia with the opportunity to take part in weekly meaningful and stimulating groups which are proven to help maintain cognitive functioning. The groups are also a fun, supportive environment where people can build new friendships and peer support. 

As MCST Project Coordinator you will be responsible for receiving and assessing referrals, planning and delivering the groups, and supporting volunteers to assist the project.

Full training will be provided for the successful candidate. There is a mandatory training day on Wednesday 9 June, 2021 over the internet.

Home Support Service Manager: 28 hours/week
£26,318 pro-rata. Six Month Fixed Term Contract

Age UK Bristol is seeking an innovative manager to develop the new Home Support Service in South Bristol. The post is initially funded for a fixed term of six months; however, we plan for it to be longer term, so long as the service is a success.

As our Home Support Service Manager you will be responsible for developing our Home Support Service and also covering the Day Centre two days/week. You will work with support from your manager to develop a successful service, making a difference to local older people at home.

Treasurer of Board 

Age UK Bristol (AUKB) is a local, independent charity that aims to support older people, their families and carers to enjoy later life. We are seeking an experienced voluntary Treasurer to join us.  One of our missions is to develop innovative ways to meet local needs that help mitigate the impact of the global pandemic.

The Treasurer will be responsible for supporting the Chief Executive and Board in the financial management of the Charity, and for providing strategic guidance, including to our Finance Manager, to ensure that we develop a viable and sustainable approach.
