Telephone Befriending
Our telephone befriending service consists of a weekly phone call with one of our volunteers. You will be matched with a volunteer who will call you at the same time each week which is agreed with you. Click here to find out more!

Tai Chi Shibashi
Tai Chi Shibashi can be done sitting or standing, which makes it very accessible and its benefits have been well researched. It can improve balance and cognitive function as well as aid with pain management. Sessions run over Zoom as well as in person.

Telephone Groups
We all miss meeting up at our local cafes and sharing a cuppa, but thanks to technology we have opened up telephone catch-up cafés! Join us for a friendly chat where we can discuss the topic and share stories and anecdotes.

Matinee Mingles
Matinee Mingle is a social cafe for local people, aged 60 and over, who would normally visit the theatre alone, to meet like-minded people before a show. The Mingles take place in the Piano Bar next door to the Hippodrome before selected shows, and participants are offered complementary refreshments and a chat.

FAB Cafes
FAB cafes happen across Bristol and are a great way to find out what else is happening locally and beyond. These cases are friendly and welcoming opportunities for people to join like-minded people in their area. Join us for a cuppa and a chat.
